My Summer Vacation: Pretty Sure I Wrote This Exact Essay in Fourth Grade, Only With Less Booze

Posted by Moose on August 3rd, 2010. Filed under: Random Lists.

It’s been a summer full of good things – hiking, sailing, getting kicked off Ocean Beach by the cops despite slyly burying my can of beer in the sand, letting a former Chanel model paw through my closet and take me shopping to rectify (rather major) wardrobe deficiencies, leading a friend from Australia on an extended food tour of the city, cycling drunkenly through wine country, and turning 32 while wearing devil horns and drinking lots of bourbon.

And lo, another year passes since the earth was graced with my presence

And lo, the passage of another year is marked by chocolate cake and devil horns. Also, pictorial proof that I’m still alive.

What this summer hasn’t allowed for, apparently, is blogging. But I still have many thoughts and many rambling paragraphs to share, so I will share them…tomorrow. Yes. Tomorrow.

Nice to see you enjoyed your birthday! I think people born in the summer have it best, although I may be partial.

Thanks, everyone! I missed you too. There was a large, blog-shaped hole in my life, one that I plan to fill with many rambling thoughts soon.

Glad you like my “It’s my birthday, so I’ll dress like Cruella DeVille if I want to” dress. I should wear that to the dog park sometime soon. HIDE YOUR PUPPIES!

Feliz cumpleanos! i hope your coming year is positively delightful, just like you are.

I commented for the first time back in February, and then I disappeared, but I kept reading, and your blog makes me quite happy. I resolve (as…uh…my resolution for your birthday?) to comment more.
