I adopted a cat recently but it hurt to walk through the dog area. One pass, brief as it was, and I could feel the small flood forming behind my eyes. And me without my ark!

Oh man. I really want to volunteer with the SPCA but I’m afraid. So afraid that suddenly I’ll have 154 cats.

In college, so in like 1999 (jesus), my friend’s mom sent her an advent calendar that had been made in West Germany. We didn’t notice that until we’d eaten about half of the chocolate.

1a. What the hell kind of Advent calendar do you have? Sounds wonderful.

2. I’m taking BOTH my dogs along this weekend on a walk/run for arthritis–I’m sure I’ll be ready to donate THEM by the finish line. Please let me know when I can ship them to you–just look for the madly barking box with airholes.
