Grace on a Tuesday
Posted by Moose on January 27th, 2009. Filed under: Uncategorized.1. What looks and sounds like half the wind section of the San Francisco symphony practicing in the top floor of a building on my street, two houses over from the Baptist church with a neon cross that gleams in the dark.
2. Running through the park in the cold morning sun. First time that I’ve run for anything but the bus since 2002.
3. Knitting at Samovar and tasting the brioche chocolate pudding for the first time.
4. Meeting a personal development blogger and having him encourage me to write a book based on people I know. My brother will soon be fictionally reincarnated as a large-eared dwarf with a whiffle bat.
5. Wondering if my landlady has been over-feeding her cat, only to realize that’s not my landlady’s cat. Unless she’s recently adopted a 20-pound raccoon.

Um, I think you’re forgetting eating INSANELY GOOD MAC AND CHEESE while watching scantily-clad and overtanned women bitching at each other over a vaguely dorky man. (That’s The Bachelor, for those of you playing along at home.)

You are so right. My laxness (laxness? Is that a word? Do I care?) is an embarrassment to Bachelor fans everywhere. That’s what I get for writing this yesterday afternoon and posting it today.

Um, Mac and Cheese was on MY list this morning (though I’m totally suffering a cheese hangover this morning, no lie. Still, totally worth it!).

I love Samovar. And B (right next to it) is probably the best place ever to get drinks after work when it’s nice out.

Number 1 could have been a chamber music jam… we have those all over the place!

I love music through open windows (live music) Our neighbors growing up in Southern Cal were a couple who practiced day and night, he played the cello and she played the viola. Their windows were open always, as ours were. They played for the LA Philharmonic.

I’m having serious food issues. I’ve read 3 blog posts tonight that have mentioned food, and I’ve developed a craving for each of those 3 foods.
