Your Eyes Will Burn and Your Arms Will Chafe in Phantom Polyester Sympathy

 OH, BUT YES

Bedazzled Christmas sweaters displayed on a hardwood floor are one thing, but they ascend a new peak of festive folly when draped from the willing limbs of brave souls. Brave souls with a stoic disregard for itchy synthetic fiber. Speaking of brave souls and stoic disregard, he wore that sweater vest through the Tenderloin at 11:30 at night. Sequinned cardinals and all.  

Thanks to the gold laminate, shoulder pads, and oddly placed bows, these sweaters have the distinct honor of being the best 18 bucks I ever spent.

    I really wish you had either a) a necklace with a jingle bell on it or b) Christmas Light Earrings that actually light up.

    I’m going to see a few bands play on Saturday night at an Ugly Christmas Sweater show. I’m hoping to get as lucky as you did at Goodwill tonight, but I’m going to be hard pressed to beat “deformed kittens in a christmas tree”. Either way, I can’t wait to wear my sweater in a room full of hipsters.

    I seriously can’t get enough bad christmas sweater pictures. My goal is to find one that lights up. I know they’re out there….and it will be mine. OH yes, it WILL be mine.

    Sadly, I was in court all morning yesterday with a lawyer who was wearing a bejeweled Christmas sweater in a non-ironic fashion. She wasn’t nearly as cute as you all.

    Some were not hideously ugly – some were kind of cute. Unfortunately, I’ve seen similar sweaters on Red Hat Ladies…..
