Next Post Will Have Poorly Composed Photos of Lasagne

A nice, long post (full of carbs!) is coming as soon as I get my act together (which, put like that, could mean never) but, in the meantime, do any of you lovely people live in Seattle? Anyone ever BEEN to Seattle? If so, would you plan my trip for me? We’re going to be there tomorrow morning and I was supposed to research our activities. And, um, I didn’t. All I know is that it has a large needle (I don’t like needles), a market where they throw fish, and the first Starbucks. If they were throwing dead fish in the Starbucks, I would totally go. But I suspect that’s not the way it works. So, anyone with Seattle ideas, comment away! (Save me.)

Hmmm… all I know is that there is a lot of coffee and rain. So bring an umbrella and a mug. And maybe something to pee in, in case you have too much coffee and can’t find a toilet. Have fun!

Oooh! If you have time, the Underground Tour is super, super cool: http://www.undergroundtour.com/

Olympic National Park is freaking fantastic, but it’s a bit of a drive from Seattle.

Take your rain jacket, and have a great time!

Dude, call Erin! I won’t leave her number here. I don’t think she’d appreciate that!

Let me guess, you’re going to Seattle for the weekend. Aren’t you? While you’re enjoying Seattle, I will be enjoying your fair city. Lovely.

jb gave you some great options in that link
i’d vote for time at Pike’s Place market, and lunch at Etta’s (it’s at the end of the market, it’s a Tom Douglas restaurant if that means anything to you, and its delicious!)
the space needle is fine, if you’re not afraid of heights and if its a clear day and if you’re in to that sort of thing
while you’re waiting in the shadows of the needle you can go to the Experience Music Project – even to just take pictures of this amazing Frank Gehry building is worth it
you’ll have fun and eat well
pack layers – could be 80 and clear or 60 and drizzling

Shopping area by the needle has the best fudge ever. I recommend the amaretto.
